Points of contact under the Digital Services Act
In accordance with Articles 11 and 12 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act), the single point of contact for Member State authorities, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services, and for recipients of the service, is contact@truzh.com. Communications may be made in Spanish or English. Notices of allegedly illegal content may also be submitted through the Report button available on every listing, profile, and message.
Establishment and country of origin
The operator is established in Valencia, Spain. Under the internal market clause in Article 3 of Directive 2000/31/EC, an information society service provider established in one Member State is subject to the rules of that Member State throughout the Union; other Member States may not impose additional requirements of their own on the service. Spanish law therefore governs the service on truzh.eu. This does not displace consumer protection: a consumer retains the protection of the mandatory rules of their country of habitual residence under Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008, and may bring proceedings in the courts of that country under Article 18 of Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012.
Domain eligibility
truzh.eu is registered under Regulation (EU) 2019/517, which admits registration by a natural person resident in a Member State of the Union. The registrant is resident in Spain. Eligibility is tied to that residence and is verified by EURid; a change of residence outside the Union would end eligibility.
Nature of the service
TRUZH operates a community-first, peer-to-peer marketplace enabling registered Users to list, discover, and exchange second-hand items locally. TRUZH acts solely as an intermediary. It is not a party to any transaction concluded between Users, does not own or inspect listed items, and does not act as seller, agent, or guarantor.
Payment
TRUZH does not process payments, hold funds, or operate any escrow, guarantee, or refund scheme, and charges Users nothing. Payment is settled directly between the buyer and the seller by a method they agree between themselves. TRUZH is not a party to that payment.
Intellectual property
The TRUZH name, wordmark, figurative mark, interface design, and all software comprising the Platform are protected. In Spain, the word mark TRUZH (M4372361) and the figurative mark TRUZH YOUR TRUSTED MARKETPLACE (M4372374) are filed with the Spanish Patent and Trade Mark Office (OEPM) in Class 35. At EU level, the word mark TRUZH is the subject of EU trade mark application No. 019418839 at the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), filed on 7 September 2026 and published. Reproduction, distribution, or transformation without the express written authorisation of the operator is prohibited.
Liability
The operator is not liable for the accuracy, completeness, legality, or quality of Content supplied by Users, nor for the outcome of transactions concluded between Users. The operator does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free availability of the Platform. Nothing in this Notice excludes liability that cannot be excluded at law.
Notice and action
Any person may notify the operator of Content believed to be unlawful by writing to legal@truzh.com with the location of the Content, the reasons for the notification, and contact details for the notifying party. Notifications are assessed and acted upon without undue delay, and the affected User is informed of any restriction imposed together with the reasons for it and the means of redress available.
